Lucy Murphy

Lucy grew up in the heart of the Victoria wheat belt of the Wimmera region and has called Melbourne home for nearly 30 years. Her journey from rural roots to city life has been marked up by a deep commitment to working and managing services for people who experience disability and ageing.

Lucy’s passion lies in building systems and nurturing leadership that creates vibrant and healthy organisations. She has led numerous projects that focus on practical and impactful change. As the Executive Manager of People, Culture and Quality at Annecto, Lucy is not just about policies and procedures – she is committed to driving cultural change and improving practices.

Lucy’s work is deeply grounded in human rights, the principles of living systems, the significance of valued roles, and the power of storytelling. For Lucy, it’s all about ensuring the best outcomes for both staff and customers. A strong advocate for mentoring others, Lucy prioritises guiding the next generation of leaders. She is committed to promoting inclusion by enhancing inclusive practices within the organisation.

In 2020, Lucy further enriched her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership of Organisational Dynamics from the National Institute of Organisational Dynamics Australia. This accomplishment reflects her commitment to continual growth, ensuring her leadership adapts over time and brings lasting, positive change to the communities she works with.
