annecto are introducing themselves to the community of Broadmeadows where they are manning an information stall at the Dallas Neighbourhood House Community Family Fun Day on the 9 March 2016.
The Fun Day aims to celebrate International Women’s Day and Cultural Diversity Week, and annecto were asked to be a part of the celebrations, to help educate the community on support options. Guest speakers include the Hume Mayor, Helen Patsikatheourou, Dr Louise Ward and Abrar Dham.
“We’ll have an information stall set up so members of the community can find out about our Commonwealth Home Support Program and about annecto’s other services,” explained Marina Leckie, Senior Support Coordinator from annecto Northern region.
The event gives annecto an opportunity to connect with the Dallas Neighbourhood House community, and for the community to learn about annecto services.
The Songbird Choir will also perform at the event. The group of diverse older singers have been charming audiences with their music for eight years and are practiced at uniting a room full of people, from all walks of life, through song.
