Frank's story

Frank served in the South West Pacific area (RAAF) against the Japanese during World War 2, returning home after the war to develop his skills as a lecturer at Post Master General department (now Telstra).

Frank's medals are testimony to his bravery and dedication in serving with the armed forces (RAAF), in the many spheres of action. annecto is proud to support people like Frank, who risked their life, health and future in defending the safety and security of Australian shores.

Respite care

Respite care plays an important role in maintaining the independence and ability of veterans to remain living at home. Respite care is designed to provide support for a carer who has responsibility for a person requiring ongoing care, attention or support and may be used in times of unavailability of the carer for any reason.

Respite includes flexible in-home, recreational, facility-based and emergency respite to meet the needs of individual veterans. Veterans requiring respite may also be carers of their parents, or a child with a disability.
