live well

at home

We know how important it is for you to live well at home, connected to family and friends, and being active in the community.

annecto - the people network provides community care and disability services with a commitment to ensuring older Australians, their families and carers experience community inclusion, opportunity and choice as valued individuals.

Our services and support to over 13,000 people throughout the northern, eastern and western metropolitan Melbourne, Grampians and Loddon Mallee regions ensures that the whole person; their physical, emotional, and social well-being is at the core of all that we do.

Our planning and support services include:

  • Person-centred community care in the home such as home and garden maintenance or personal care
  • Flexible day, evening, overnight respite to support carers
  • Practical information to manage at home. For example, nutrition, meal preparation or delivery, maintaining personal interests and hobbies, with transport to help you get there
  • After-Hours Response support seven days a week and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays
  • Support workers from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds, auslan interpreters and multilingual Infoline.

Are there fees for these services?

Fees are in line with current Department of Health and Ageing guidelines.

We actively encourage people to be involved in life - in activities during the week and weekend which allow for positive and supportive social networks and an increased feeling of wellbeing.

These activities provide older people with opportunities to be involved with their interests, to form and maintain friendships, and to learn about services that are available to them.

Depending on the region, activities may include creating projects such as large wall murals with a professional artist, recording life stories through digital storytelling, making Life Books, or singing with the SongBirds, annecto's very own choir.

annecto has strong links with other providers specialising in aged care. These links help to provide ongoing assistance, referral and liaison to ensure your support is comprehensive, holistic and uninterrupted.
