Job Connections is the employment program of annecto specialising in supporting job seekers with disabilities into the workforce, and connecting the employer with untapped workforce potential.
annecto believes in the creation of a common vision for the community where all people feel a sense of belonging, an appreciation of people from different backgrounds and abilities in which exists strong and positive interactions between people.

Storm has cerebral palsy which affects his mobility, but there is no slowing him down. His motto 'Train hard and don't lose sight of your goals' has helped him to achieve. Storm won a Merlyn Myer Youth Award for leadership skills in 2008, and has recently won several awards for his public speaking skills from Toastmasters. His career goals include counseling, social work or working as a disability advocate at a government level. annecto's Job Connections arranged his work experience at Western Region Disability Network earlier this year which gave him an opportunity to see how disability advocacy works and to meet Bill Shorten, the Secretary for Disability and Children's Services. |
